Typical Investment
Every property is different, so design fees vary based on project size, site complexity, and scope. The ranges below are intended as budgeting guides; after our initial consultation, I’ll provide a written fixed-fee proposal outlining the scope, deliverables, and revision allowance.
Essential Landscape Design

Design Consultation

One-hour minimum for on-site professional landscape and gardening guidance. If you move forward with a landscape design project, the consultation fee is credited toward your design fee.
On-Site Design
$250+
Best for small, simple areas where layout can be marked directly on-site using landscape marking paint and flags without producing a drawn plan.
Remote Design
$600-$3,500
Available at standard design rates for clients outside Colorado. Virtual meetings are used, with homeowners providing measurements, photos, and existing-condition information.
Additional Support
$125/hr
Additional meetings, revisions, site visits, and other support as needed.

Connect
We begin with a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation to talk about your property, what isn't working and what you'd like your outdoor space to become. A design fee range is discussed.

Present
I present the design along with precedent imagery to help you visualize the proposed spaces, materials, and character. We review the concept together and gather your feedback before moving into revisions.

Discover
I conduct a site analysis where I learn about your site, your lifestyle and how you want to use the landscape while identifying opportunities and constraints. This is done on-site for local clients and via photos and owner-provided measurements for remote clients.

Refine
I make thoughtful adjustments based on your feedback until the plan feels right.
